The Digital Humanism Association seeks to promote progress in the development of digital technologies that are guided by a commitment to human beings, their fundamental rights and freedoms, as well as democracy and self-determination. This is pursued through interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary basic and applied research, along with the promotion of innovation, education, and appropriate communication.
The Association critically and constructively observes current developments in digitalisation and provides a platform for in-depth discourse on digital humanism. It is based in Vienna, which, through the Vienna Manifesto for Digital Humanism, has made a significant statement and laid the foundation for an international intellectual movement.
