Theme: Democracy in the Digital Age

The Summer School explores the complex interplay between digital technologies and society, with a focus on democracy, digital sovereignty, and the design of AI in alignment with human values. It provides an interdisciplinary platform for exchange among academia, policy, and civil society, addressing topics such as:
- Foundational and philosophical issues of digital technologies and AI
- Democratic governance of AI and social media
- Civil society organizing in the digital age
- AI for democratic innovation
