The 2025 ACM Europe School on Recommender Systems will be held from September 15-19, in Vienna, Austria. Leaders in the field will give lectures on the practice, research, and state of the art in recommender systems. The lectures cover a broad range of topics from an algorithmic as well as a methodological perspective and will also include hands-on sessions.

The Summer School “Towards Human-Centered, Inclusive, and Equitable Artificial Intelligence” at the University of Pisa is aimed at students, PhD candidates, and early-career researchers interested in the ethical, inclusive, and societal aspects of AI. The program includes interdisciplinary lectures, workshops, case studies, and group projects on topics such as algorithmic fairness, explainable AI, participatory design, and regulation.

Die Performance behandelt philosophische Fragen rund um Künstliche Intelligenz. Im Mittelpunkt stehen die Interaktionen zwischen einem Auto und einem ehemaligen Schauspieler (gespielt von Fritz Fenne). Thematisiert werden unter anderem die Fähigkeit von KI aufzugeben, Fragen von Würde und Identität sowie die Angst, von Maschinen ersetzt zu werden.
