Vienna Digital Cultures, jointly organised by Foto Arsenal Wien and Kunsthalle Wien, is a new festival dedicated to exploring the cultural impact of digital technologies through art, performance, and critical discourse. As part of the programme, Kate Crawford will deliver the keynote „Model Collapse: The Cascading Failures of Algorithms, Ecosystems, and Economies“ on 5 May 2025 at Angewandte Interdisciplinary Lab, examining how AI-driven systems are destabilising models, environments, and economies.
