The 23rd Annual STS Conference Graz, focusing on „Critical Issues in Science, Technology and Society Studies,“ is scheduled for May 5–7, 2025. This hybrid event is a collaboration among the Science Technology and Society Unit of the Institute of Human-Centred Computing at Graz University of Technology, the Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Technology, Work and Culture (IFZ), and the Institute for Advanced Studies of Science, Technology and Society (IAS-STS).
Keynote speakers include Kean Birch, Elena Esposito, and Harald Rohracher. The conference is committed to sustainability, being certified as a Green Meeting.
Important deadlines are as follows:
- Call for Session Proposals: Extended until November 18, 2024
- Call for Abstracts: Open until January 31, 2025
- Registration: Closes on April 30, 2025
- Full Paper Submission: Due by June 16, 2025
